Our team of Qualified Environmental Professionals (QEPs) including biologists, ecologists, agrologists and wildlife specialists offer a broad range of assessment services in aquatic and terrestrial ecosystem analysis, wildlife assessments, habitat analysis, fisheries assessments and species inventory.

Binpal Engineering obtain approvals for development activities occurring near or within environmentally sensitive habitats by generating the relevant information needed to complete feasibility studies and achieve regulatory compliance and permitting. We also provide information to local government on requirements for a Development Permit (DP) where an Environmentally Sensitive Area (ESA) may be impacted as part of a development application (Rezoning, Subdivision, Development Permit or Building Permit).

We guide clients on how to proceed with their development projects while minimizing the impacts on sensitive ecosystems and develop potential mitigation strategies to avoid or minimize Harmful Alteration Disruption or Destruction (HADD) of fish habitat under the Federal Fisheries Act. We specialize in conducting Stream assessments under the BC Riparian Areas Protection Regulation (RAPR) and in accordance with local government Streamside Protection bylaws to establish appropriate setbacks prior to development that could also include evaluation of wetland features and ponds.
